Detailed description of Skyview Golf Club
Skyview Golf Club is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Sparta, New Jersey.
Skyview Golf Club golf course first opened for play in 2000. The course was designed by Robert McNeil.
The routing at SkyView is woven through the striking natural terrain of the site. Unique outcroppings of stone, grand sheer rock cliffs and long vistas to the surrounding valleys frame and define the movement of the golf holes. These memorable features strategically and aesthetically engage the player's senses throughout the golfing experience.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 6,002 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,536 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 534 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 139 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, the 534 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Skyview Golf Club is # 11, the 139 yard par-3.

Nice course, not too long and pretty fair. It wasn't busy and we played in about 3 1/2 hours. Staff was friendly, conditions were great.

I enjoyed this course, but it is nothing to write home about. The course offers a lot of elevation changes and need to be played more then once to score well due to the many blind shots. Interesting but weird course. Too many blind shots. There's one Par five in which all three shots are blind! Nice staff.

They do not police the time it takes at all. They need rangers badly. Go at off peak times. At peak times it will take over 5 hours. No Fun.
